Fall Soil Test

Fall test...Fall Apply

Soil test immediately after the harvest. Then apply aglime in fall.

Aglime reacts at varying rates under different soil and weather conditions. Best results occur when it is applied in fall to assure needed reduction of acidity by planting time.

Crop response to aglime is greatest when incorporated. If you fall plow, fall application is your best alternative - another reason to soil test early.

Crushed Stone Products

QUARRY ROCK (Hand pick) - Commonly used in making retaining walls and stone chimneys.

ARMOUR STONE - Larger rock used for break waters or decorative.

3/4" MINUS - Commonly used for sloped driveways.

1/2" MINUS - Can be used on flat or sloped driveway.

1/4" MINUS - Small stone with a lot of powder. Commonly used for flat driveways and under paving stones.

3/4" CLEAR - Good for drain tile & muddy driveways. Can be used for basements and ditches. Not recommended for regular driveways.

1/2" CLEAR - Does not pack. Good for a flat driveway and for grave plots. Not recommended for slopped driveways.

3/8" CLEAR - Does not pack. Used for walkways, roofing, dog runs and flower pots.
